REMOTE DATA ENTRY CLERK

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Remote Data Entry Clerk to join our growing team. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for entering and updating data into our systems accurately and efficiently. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from home with flexible hours.

Responsibilities:

Enter data from various sources into databases, spreadsheets, or other systems with high accuracy.

Verify accuracy of data by comparing it to source documents or re-entering it in the verification process.

Update existing data and perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.

Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.

Perform regular data cleansing to maintain data integrity.

Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.

Respond to queries for information and access relevant files.

Comply with data integrity and security policies.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or similar position.

Fast typing skills; knowledge of touch typing system is preferred.

Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.).

Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices.

Basic understanding of databases and information systems.

Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills.

Great attention to detail.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience working remotely or in a virtual office environment.

Familiarity with data entry software and/or systems.
