We are actively seeking a Contract Recruiter in a full-time capacity for a longer term contract. This is a critical role that will have a tremendous impact on YETI’s business as the company continues to scale and grow. This individual will partner with senior leadership to develop successful recruiting strategies for both domestic and international retail positions.  Individuals must have full-cycle recruiting experience in the retail space, with exceptional skills in sourcing passive candidates, selling the YETI story, negotiating and closing offers, and managing a complex and diverse client group.

Responsibilities:

  • Will carry a full requisition load, hiring full & part time talent for our 20+ retail locations.
  • Develop solid relationships with various hiring managers at all levels and establish recruiting strategies that fill existing and future openings.
  • Ability to work at the executive level managing client relationships and expectations.
  • Pro-actively communicate to client groups, candidates and talent team providing timely updates on recruiting progress and challenges.
  • Create and enhance job descriptions ensuring that they are clear, concise, relevant, and effective in attracting relevant candidates.
  • Manage the entire recruiting life cycle from intake session through offer management and on-boarding.
  • Establish passive talent pools using tools like LinkedIn.
  • Ability to convert passive candidates through pitching and selling the YETI story and job opportunity.
  • Collaborate across the talent organization to ensure recruiting best practices are consistently followed.
  • Ability to build candidate pipeline for upwards of 35 retail openings at a time, leveraging networking techniques, external and employee referrals, and sourcing passive talent via LinkedIn and other social media tools.
  • Manage all open requisitions via Workday ensuring that all data is updated and accurate.
  • Act with a sense of urgency to meet quarterly hiring goals while maintaining a high bar for talent.
  • Be proactive with the ability to manage expectations of both candidates and hiring managers ensuring all candidates receive a positive experience regardless of the outcome.
  • Ensure that new employees have reasonable expectations of the Company and the requirements of the position.
  • Creatively assisting in team’s talent brand, sourcing, and recruiting strategies identifying opportunities that will help attract the best talent in the market.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required with at least 7 years of experience in full cycle recruiting, with specific experience hiring in the retail space.
  • Must be successful in managing sensitive and confidential information.
  • Must demonstrate passion, authenticity and a strong desire to go the extra mile.
  • Extensive experience using LinkedIn Recruiter to identify passive candidates.
  • Excellent business acumen and networking skills.
  • Possess a successful track record of meeting aggressive hiring goals.
  • Strong attention to detail with proven ability to manage multiple requisitions at a time.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong relationships quickly with people.
  • Strong negotiating and closing skills.
  • Experience using various social media sites to attract talent.
  • Goal oriented with high standards for excellence.
  • Have a passion for getting things done.
  • Must be comfortable with frequent changing priorities.
  • Ability to manage various processes while maintain a high attention to detail.
  • Exhibit polish and professionalism in your daily work.
  • Must demonstrate the YETI Core values in your daily work.
  • Experience using Workday strongly desired.
