As the Microsoft Relationship Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing our partnership with Microsoft. This position requires proactive engagement with Microsoft representatives to manage partnerships and ensure alignment with our strategic objectives. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of activities from monitoring compliance with program requirements to actively participating in marketplace initiatives and managing incentive programs. The role is split into two main functions: program administration and relationship building, with a strong emphasis on the latter as the critical component of the role. This is an individual contributor role that requires significant interaction with internal teams and Microsoft representatives.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key individuals at Microsoft, ensuring Sylogist has a robust network of contacts within Microsoft to support our sales tactics, strategic goals and operational needs.
  • Partnership Management: Oversee and administer our Microsoft Cloud Partner Program, designations, and CSP relationships under the Sylogist umbrella. Engage with Microsoft to ensure compliance with the evolving rules and requirements of our various Microsoft programs statuses.
  • Revenue and Incentives Management: Monitor and manage the incentives programs, ensuring optimal participation and compliance in both the US and Canada. Manage the allocation and utilization of co-op funds for marketing initiatives.
  • Strategic Planning: Track changes in Microsoft’s licensing programs and incentives, ensuring our sales and production teams are informed and our strategies are aligned with these changes.
  • Support and Collaboration: Manage relationships with Microsoft for support services under the Advanced Support for Partners (ASfP) program. Collaborate with internal teams across various departments to coordinate efforts and ensure compliance with Microsoft’s standards and requirements.
  • Marketplace Engagement: Maintain and enhance our visibility in the Microsoft partner marketplace by managing our listings and understanding how these are utilized by Microsoft sales teams to engage with partners.

What We Look for in You:

Must-Haves:

  • Experience: Proven experience in managing Microsoft partner relationships, including a fluency in Microsoft programs, roles and structures.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a strategic mindset.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft’s Marketplace, including its offers and referral systems.
  • Experience in managing Microsoft Partner Incentives and understanding the associated policies and terms.

If you are adept at both administration and relationship building, and you are looking for a role where your efforts can directly impact the growth and success of our business, we encourage you to apply!
