Marcom is a Global Marketing Communications group. We oversee all of the marketing to ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class campaigns and experiences.

The retail team within Marcom is seeking a modern strategy leader to shape next generation retail experiences.

This is a leadership role, responsible for strategic leadership of both in-store and digital experiences; and seasonal commercial campaigns.

It requires radical simplification; an ability to articulate and drive the right approach when many strategies are possible; and a deep understanding of the kinds of strategy that lead to magical, customer-centric and innovative experiences.

 

Key Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience working as a strategic leader, with client-side experience preferable
  • Deep retail experience: proven track record in delivery of strategies that bring business results
  • Expert in experience strategy and design; equally capable of driving innovation in real world and online environments
  • Fluent in tactical and seasonal retail marketing; can oversee the marketing strategies that increase customer engagement
  • Ability to work with large data sets to identify opportunities, challenges and break points in the customer journey
  • A creative thinker; ability to not just optimize, but innovate, to keep a Retail presence constantly ahead
  • Confident in establishment of agile workflows to drive innovation
  • Comfort with fast iteration: testing, learning, and responding quickly to changing market signals
  • Track record of leading strategic conversations with a wide range of people in different disciplines, including business leads, media experts, and creative partners.
  • Skilled in prioritizing multiple, complex, concurrent projects. Able to respond and adapt to the needs of a highly matrixed organization, and ensure that work is delivered to a high standard while adhering clearly to defined business and marketing objectives.
  • Extraordinary writing skills, visual story-telling skills, presentation skills, and attention to detail.
  • A passion for technology along with a critical point of view on its impact on people’s lives.
  • A born collaborator, able to thrive in ambiguity

 

Specific duties: 

You will own the translation of business objectives into strategies for the Marcom Retail team.

You will identify opportunities to reach new audiences, drive new interest, and connect with new cultures.

You will collaborate with highly specialized creative leads in marketing, digital experience design and in-store experience design to create next generation experiences.

You will develop inspiring yet rigorous strategy that drives deeper engagement with, and results for our Retail function.

You will represent these efforts at the highest levels of the company.

You will work closely and productively with some of the best strategic, design and marketing talent on the planet.

You will build relationships and gain insight from diverse groups of people in a variety of disciplines within the larger organization.

  • Preferred years of experience : More Than 15 Years
  • Travel Required : 25% or less
  • Business Day Timings: 9 AM to 5 PM
